Gardner Minshew Exposes Dallas Secondary In Overtime Upset

Backup QB Gardner Minshew threw three fourth-quarter TDs as the Cardinals beat Dallas 33-30. See how the secondary collapsed against a simple play.

The Edmonton Oilers star, Connor McDavid, just became the fastest player ever to hit 30 assists in a single season. He did it in just 15 games. This pace has him on track to blow past the 200-point mark by the time the 2026-27 season ends. It is a feat no one thought possible until Wayne Gretzky came along.

The team has won two straight games against Boston and Detroit. They are now set to face the New York Rangers. This three-game win streak is the first real sign of life this franchise has shown in a long time. The Central Division race is getting tight, and St. Louis needs every point they can get.

A Bold New Look for the Blues

The Blues have officially pulled the curtain back on their Hometown Remix uniform. This new jersey features black and silver for the first time in club history. The design team worked with Fanatics to create a look that honors the city’s roots. The crest now includes three river-wave lines to represent the Mississippi River. The numbers on the back have a beveled finish that mimics the Arch.

“The new Hometown Remix sweater developed in conjunction with Fanatics and the NHL gives Blues fans a fresh look with bold design elements that are uniquely St. Louis,” Wilbur said, according to NHL.com. The team plans to wear this specific jersey ten times during the 2026-27 season. Nine of those games will be played right here at Enterprise Center.

Brian Jennings of the NHL believes this design will connect with fans on a deep level. “Few symbols in sports carry the history, pride, and emotional connection of an NHL sweater,” Jennings said. The sleeves feature a debossed wave pattern that shows the energy of the city. It is a smart move to bring back the circular crest from the old navy alternate jersey that fans loved from 2008 to 2016.

Snuggerud Chasing 50 Goals

Off the ice, the story of the week is Jimmy Snuggerud. The young forward is on pace to score 48 goals this season. He has already found the net eight times in eight separate games. If he keeps this up, he will join an elite group of scorers. Fans remember Jordan Kyrou well, and they want to see if Snuggerud can do even more.

The roster is getting crowded on the blue line too. To regain his fitness, Logan Mailloux traveled to Springfield for a conditioning stint. This creates a logjam on the right side. Justin Barron or Adam Jiricek might not get playing time soon. Tyler Tucker is still out with no clear return date. The team has depth, but they need to figure out who stays and who goes.

What Comes Next

The Blues have a tough road ahead as they head to the East Coast. They will play the Rangers and the New Jersey Devils. A win in New York would be huge for the team’s confidence. The schedule is favorable for now, but the Central Division is not going to give up ground easily. Nashville is waiting, and every point matters.

Fanatics Vice President of Creative Design, Dom Fillion, described this uniform launch as a major moment. “Hometown Remix represents the most exciting initiative our team has designed and delivered with our partners since we hit the ice with the NHL in 2024,” Fillion said. The fans will get to see the new gear on November 17 against the Anaheim Ducks. That is just the start of a busy month for the club. The hot streak must continue if they want to make noise in the playoffs next March.
